President's Report

SDBS President’s report

We now have our boat in the water, and have started practicing. Regular practices are Tuesday and Thursday evenings, from 6:30 – 7:30 p.m.

With a large number of returning paddlers, as well as a few new ones, we are looking forward to a great year.

We have the generous support of our two major Sponsors, Twin Anchors Houseboat Vacations, and The Canadian Breast Cancer Society, BC/Yukon Division.

We will attend two festivals this year, Salmon Arm, on June 25th, and the Senior Games in Nelson August 17-20.

We are making plans to do some Breast Cancer Awareness events in October, which is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and after our paddling season is over.

It seems we will be having a busy and exciting year for 2011.
