We're back on the water
Friends Abreast is back on the water and all our paddlers are anxious to get paddling again. We took our boat out of winter storage on May 14th with lots of help and we had our first practice on May 20th in the rain.
This year we have some new paddlers, both Breast Cancer survivors and supporters, but we are still looking for more paddlers to fill our boat. We practice on Tuesday and Thursday at 6:15pm to 7:15pm at the Salmon Arm Wharf.
Any ladies that would like to see what paddling is all about are welcome to come to the wharf or contact any of the executive - we'd love to hear from you. We have lots of activities planned this year - not only on the water but also on land.
