What a Year!
Friends Abreast team in now on dry land. The paddling season has come to an end not because we didn't want to paddle any more but because we ran out of WATER! The spot where we moor our boat was very shallow and we could not paddle anymore. This season was filled with festivals, great get-to-gethers and lots of fun and laughter.
A special thanks to all our team members for making this year a very special seasons. Great team spirit not just in the boat but on land also.
We were very excited about our team this year and welcomed several new paddlers. We are still looking for Breast Cancer survivors to come and join us and experience the fun and friendship. No paddling experience necessary.
